The level of excitement from Tottenham fans over potential new signing Micky van de Ven has gone up a notch after a video of the defender’s incredible pace surfaced online.
Mail Sport reported on Thursday that Spurs are on verge of agreement with Wolfsburg to sign the Netherlands U21 star.
Although talks are progressing, Wolfsburg will hold out for £43million for the defender, with the customary add-ons reported to be included in the deal.
Reports suggest that the player is now set to fly to UK to do a medical and sign a long term contract.
Mail Sport understands that a deal is very close, with just the structure of a deal to be sorted between the two sides.

Dutch defender Micky van de Ven is on the verge of completing a move to Tottenham
And one Tottenham supporter has found a clip of the 22-year-old centre back that certainly helps to justify that price tag.
It shows the defender on the edge of the opposition area with his goalkeeper not far behind him, Wolfsburg chasing an equaliser in injury time in the Dutch Cup against Union Berlin.
Wolfsburg lose the ball and it’s hoofed forward for the opposition striker to surely situs slot gacor into an empty net.
However, Van de Ven has other ideas and shows unbelievable pace and desire to sprint all the way back to his goal and clear off the line, much to the dismay of the forward.

Van de Ven has been on the radar of Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou for some time.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a stellar breakout 2022-23 season, where he started 33 Bundesliga games for the Wolves, sparking interest from clubs across Europe.
Liverpool were also reportedly interested in pursuing a deal, but it now appears Tottenham have come out ahead in the race for the Wolfsburg star.
Van de Ven was part of the recent Netherlands U21 squad at the European Championships that saw the nation draw all three group stage matches and exit the competition.
He played 90 minutes in every group stage clash against Belgium, Portugal, and Georgia, conceding just two goals in the process.
